Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream

Maybe you don’t get oils. Maybe you still prefer the sanctity of a good cream, but want it oil-based to some extent. Maybe you want both. If you’re looking for the ultimate in luxury and oils, the Rejuvenating Night Cream ($230) will spell ruin for your wallet, but be well worth the investment if you're angling to get the best of both worlds.

Pray tell...a night cream on this blog? It makes more sense than you think. It had occurred to me that consumers might feel overwhelmed by the number of face oils hitting the market. Some have Jasmine; others have Patchouli. These two essences are the persnickety scents that may entice you to buy or swear off oils for life. But, Omorovicza is one of the few luxury brands that marries the holistic benefits from oils in a cream base alleviating the fear of dreaded shine or even break-outs.

Packaged in the attractively-minimalist jar, this treatment has a thinner texture than a gloppy cream; at first you’ll think it’s a lotion. But, nurtured within the fabled Hungarian Thermal Water are Shea Butter, Beeswax, Fractionated Coconut oil, Apricot, Sunflower, Almond, and Carrot Seed oils. It’s hearty though and through...

A regenerating cream to fight against skin aging, Carrot Seed is what stimulates your cell turnover and gives you the reputed potent softening, regenerating and strengthening benefits. Hazelnut peptides and Apple Pectin also help make this a standout from other prissy creams pretending to be rich in the ingredient-of-the-moment, but is actually in barely there concentrations. Free from a synthetic scent, the cream is gentle to the touch and smells a faintly of sweet floral Chamomile or something close to that. I don't get the nuttier tinge from Almond, but some of you may...And, unlike those heavier science-y creams (which push forward with their unwavering marketing pretension), Omorovicza’s jar takes the luxury experience of oils to a whole other level. A niche unexplored. My recently exfoliated skin and I are gratifyingly impressed, really.

Why so expensive...and even so exclusive? The discreet beauty of the chosen oils is extremely polished and pure. The mineralized water is sourced from Hungary’s pristine sources. And, the cream is created in a Nobel Prize winning lab. Just these puts the treatment in a class of its own. Between you & I, if I wasn’t so smitten with oils, this would likely be my go to moisturizer. Everything seems intensified in this wonder jar, which I know will become your dearest possession.

If, by chance, a deliciously nutritious face oil hasn’t stolen this spot.
